What We Believe

Because the world is often broken and divided, St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church welcomes all people into the loving body of Jesus Christ

Though the world seeks to divide, at St. Mark's we offer everyone a place in the family of God. Without condition or judgement, all people are welcome to join us in worship, fellowship and ministry.

Our Mission Statement:

St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church is a congregation of believers who are called by God through the Redeeming Love of Jesus Christ to be God's People in this place at this point in time. Through the Sacred Scriptures, which is the Word of God, and the Sacraments, the Holy Spirit nurtures us in Faith, Commitment and Service. Our response to God's call is to:

Give praise and thanksgiving through regular worship
Strengthen our congregation as a loving forgiving and serving family
Increase our understanding of God's will through study and dialogue
Go forth in proclamation of God's Salvation through word and witness
Be God's servants and ministries to all people
Share willingly of our means
Give sacrificially of our time, talents and treasures for the support and advancement of God's Kingdom here and for eternity

All of this we do in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ
